You have to want it for yourself and no one else.
I feel like I used to roll my eyes at people that wanted to be gluten free, who didn’t have a medical condition. And quite honestly who the heck wants to give up pasta and bread? Not this girl. I digress…
This Monday because of the holidays my sister had the day off and magically I did too! My mom wanted to do a little girls day so we went to West Midtown to eat and then browse around IKEA. I am feeling so inspired by Essena’s movement on Lets Be Game Changers. She talks about becoming obsessed with social media and seeking validation from how many likes you rack in on Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Twitter and any other outlets you can think of. Some people know this about me, some don’t. But I have to pay for college on my own and many other expenses, but tuition is the bank drainer. I do not qualify for loans nor do I want to be in debt when I graduate, so every 6 months I have to save about $2000-$3000 to afford each semester. Many of my friends always ask me but how? Madewell has been a favorite store of mine for quite some time. They are a smaller boutique from the J.Crew Company. Their head designer, Joyce Lee, says “Madewell is basically for anyone who appreciates timeless designs that put you at ease.” Their demographic is the millennial crowd who lead fabulous lives. Some adjectives that come to mind when I am in the store are effortless, androgynous, sexy and artful. It’s all in how you style their pieces, you could decide to tuck in the front of your shirt or roll your sleeve up. Creativity with their clothes is highly suggested.
Seasons changing is just another excuse to switch up my makeup routine, quite honestly. Fall is just so cozy. I’m sharing some items that were apart of my summer collection and some new goodies! Another great thing about Autumn is that everyone gets pale, like my complexion, so I stop yearning for bronze goddess skin.
